Fractal Boiserie

The design of the Fractal paneling is inspired by fractal geometry.
A geometric object that is repeated in its shape and on different scales, getting larger or smaller, while sticking to a figure similar to the original. The term ‘fractal’ comes from the Latin fractus, meaning broken.
Fractal sees, in fact, the recurrence of linear wooden elements, shaped in their section, which follow one another facing themselves in different soft inclinations, which make the composition definitely plastic but, at the same time, vibrating.
The design is enriched by the juxtaposition of flat, rectangular elements, both in wood and in precious metal.
Like the other Emmemobili boiserie proposals, this one too can be customised according to the customer’s specific requirements. The attached technical diagrams provide examples of some of the ways it can be used.
