Gaulino Dining Table
 Designed by Oscar Tusquets
Old rockers never die and Oscar Tusquets is eager to demonstrate this. This architect, artist and writer has designed nearly everything during hislong career. In particular many chairs, some of them very admired but possibly none of them are as beautiful as the Gaulino. Tusquets explains that in this piece some critic detected his well-known admiration for Salvador Dalà but, when he saw it finished, it seemed to him that the clearest influences came from Antoni Gaudà and Carlo Mollino. This is why it is called Gaulino. He designed it in 1987 and since then it has become a reference in Spanish design. The table was designed in 2011 as a complement of the chair.Â
